A PCB insertion line is a production line made up of manual insertion workstations for circuit boards. Insertion tables, work positions and material racks are arranged in order. Operators insert components onto PCBs at each station, and the board flows to the next station, then on to wave soldering or inspection.
Three points make an insertion line run smoothly. First, split stations by insertion count, and give difficult components their own position to avoid bottlenecks. Second, place materials nearby, with racks matched to insertion tables so operators can reach parts easily and cut wasted motion. Third, control static: ground the insertion tables, line body and floor, and add ionizing fans to prevent electrostatic damage to components.
For balancing manual and automatic insertion: use auto insertion for high volume and standardized components, and manual insertion lines for multi-variety, small-batch or irregular components. The two can also be mixed.
Zhenxi Automation (Huizhou) customizes PCB insertion lines to your board type, insertion count and target capacity, with anti-static protection included.
