An aging cart is a mobile aging rack. It carries products from station to station, holding them in layers for power-on aging. How to set up the layers is key to making an aging cart practical.

The core of layering is layer count and load. How many layers an aging cart has depends on product height and aging quantity. More layers mean more products aged per cart, but also a taller cart with more load that is harder to push. The layer count balances load and convenience.

The load must be calculated fully. The frame, layer boards and casters must all bear the weight of a fully loaded cart. Layer boards must hold a full load of products without sagging; casters must carry a full cart that can still be pushed. Leave load margin rather than calculating to the limit.

Power interfaces must be provided. Each layer of an aging cart has power interfaces; products are placed on the cart and connected for power-on aging. The interface voltage levels must match, with each layer and zone connected to its corresponding voltage. When the cart is pushed to an aging station, the interfaces connect to the power system.

Power-on is the core of an aging cart. Products are loaded in layers and connected by voltage level—low, normal and high voltage, with impulse and roaming aging throughout, uninterrupted. Whichever station the cart is pushed to, the interfaces connect to the matching voltage stage, keeping aging continuous and unbroken.

The cart must also be stable. Fully loaded, it must not wobble or tip when pushed. Layer boards are fixed firmly and products sit steadily. Casters lock in place for safety and convenience.

With the layers set up well, products fit, the cart pushes easily and connects to power, making aging convenient and flexible.
