An aging rack is the carrier for power-on aging; products are loaded and powered for aging. How the power interfaces are laid out directly affects the safety and efficiency of aging.
Voltage zoning comes first. The aging rack is divided into zones by voltage level — low-voltage, normal-voltage and high-voltage zones. Each zone has independent interfaces, and products are connected to the matching voltage stage according to the aging process.
Current zoning is just as important. The power interface of each layer and each branch is matched to the current load, with enough capacity and no overload. Multiple outputs are independently controlled, so a fault on one branch does not affect the others.
The interface type should be right. Power interfaces on an aging rack usually use quick-connect plugs, aviation sockets or terminal blocks, which are easy to plug and unplug with reliable contact. Interfaces should be foolproof, with different voltage stages clearly marked to avoid wrong connections.
Wiring should be clear. Cables run through trunking by zone, with power and signal separated and clearly labeled. Interface panels are arranged centrally so operators can see and reach them easily.
Safety protection is essential. For power-on aging, interfaces need leakage protection and overload protection, and the rack must be reliably grounded. Live interfaces have protective covers to prevent accidental contact.
The core of aging is power-on. After loading, products undergo power-on aging — low voltage, normal voltage, high voltage, impulse and roaming — without interruption. The interface layout serves this power-on flow, with clear zoning, convenient control and reliable safety.
An aging rack is non-standard and customized; the voltage zoning, current capacity and interface type all follow the product and aging process. Zhenxi has built aging racks for years and can lay out the power interfaces for you, from design to installation and commissioning.
